ADAMINABY JOCKEY CLUB
located in the Snowy Mountains NSW
The Adaminaby Races are one of the social events of the town and Snowy Mountains, where more than 2000 patrons gather in a festive mood to
watch great racing, make new friends, and to renew old friendships.
Each year dedicated members of the community rally together to prepare the track and present a wonderful event for all to enjoy.
Adaminaby Race Day is a true family day out.
Not only are the family's punters taken care of, but also the children and the more fashion conscious family members.
What a great opportunity to entertain family, friends, and clients.
On Friday prior to Race Day the Adaminaby Bowling and Sports Club hold the Adaminaby Cup Calcutta at 7.30pm
Each horse will be auctioned and everyone will bid against each other to buy their favourite. Bid as one person or join a group. At the end of the
auction the final bids are tallied into one big pool.
The bidder who 'owns' the horse that comes 1st, 2nd or 3rd place will win a portion of the pooled money.
The winning bidders don't get to take the horse home but they take home a nice amount of money.
So why not book a table, enjoy a meal from the Club Bistro, bring your cheque book and enjoy the fun!
